WHAT WE BELIEVE

1.) SCRIPTURE

We believe Scripture as we also refer to it to be called the Bible. We believe it too be the written revelation of God, complete and sufficient in all respects. The infallible Word of God, final authority of all matters of faith and practice, verbally inspired in all parts and therefor wholly without error as originally given of God. (2 Tim. 3:16 & 2 Peter 12:21)

2.) ONE GOD

We believe in one true and eternal God, unchanging, unchangeable. We believe that God is creator of all that exists in heaven and earth. God has all power, all knowledge, all wisdom, and is due all glory, honor, and praise. All that comes to pass, does so, at the decree of God. All thing will, in the end, result in the glory of God (Gen. 1:1)

3.) THE TRINITY

We believe God exists eternally as three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Lk. 3:22, Matt. 28:19, 2 Cor. 13:14) The Holy Spirit: He is God (Acts 3:5-4), He indwells and regenerates every believe (1 Cor. 12:13, Rom. 8:9), He fills each believer (Eph. 5:18), He gives gifts to His children (Eph. 4:4-7, 11:13, 1 Cor. 12:4-7, 14:26)

4.) SALVATION

Complete and eternal salvation by God's grace alone, received as the gift of God through the repentance of sin and personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and His finished work (Eph. 2:8-9, Titus 3:5-7, 2 Peter 3:9)

5.) MAN

We believe that man was created in the image of God (Gen. 1:26-28). Man rebelled against his Creator and fell into sin, as a result man became spiritually dead (Gen. 3:2-24), totally willing, and indeed incapable of seeking after God. God, from eternity past, having foreordained all things, joined a certain people to Christ Jesus, so that he might redeem them from their sin, and in so doing bring glory to Himself (John 3:3-5). Jesus Christ, the Son of God, died in the place of His elect people, providing for forgiveness of sins, and no addition can be made to the completed and finished work of Christ.

6.) THE CHURCH

We believe Jesus Christ established His church, which is made up of all the elect of God. His church, as an obedient bride, listens to His Word as found in the Bible. All who believe in Christ are placed in His body, the church. The local expressions of the church are very important, and each believer should be actively involved in such fellowship. One true church, the body, and bride of Christ (Eph. 1:22-23). This body (the church) is composed of all true believers of the present age (1 Cor. 12:12-13).

7.) CHRIST'S RETURN

We believe that Christ is coming again to judge the living and the dead. This promise is found throughout the inspired Scriptures. Till His return, believers are to live lives that bring glory to God through Jesus Christ. The church is to be busy doing the work of evangelism and discipleship, proclaiming the pure, uncompromised Gospel of Christ by teaching the Word of God. The personal, visible, and imminent return of Christ to remove His church from the earth (1 Thes. 4:16-17).

WE ALSO BELIEVE

LIFE, MARRIAGE, and SEXUALITY

We believe in the sanctity of life and that each human being has a soul and a spirit that will live beyond the human experience. We believe that every human life was created by God at conception and is intended to flourish and give glory to Him regardless of the gender, circumstances surrounding conception, or any mental or physical prognosis or condition. Life is a gift from God and must be cherished, defended, and protected from conception until natural death. We believe that the direct taking of an innocent human life for any reason is a moral evil, regardless of intention. Because we are created in God's own image, we believe in caring for the pre-born, the aged, the poor, the handicapped, the homeless, the orphan, and the widow, without partiality.

God is the author and creator of marriage and sexuality. His Word declares the sacred union of one man and one woman (as their physical genders were determined at birth) in marriage is designed to be monogamous for a lifetime. The Bible clearly states that any other form of inordinate affection is a sin. Therefore, homosexuality, lesbianism, bestiality, polygamy, pedophilia, fornication, adultery, or any other sexual acts outside the bonds of marriage is considered sinful. (Gen. 1--3. Psm 139, Matt. 5:31-32, Matt. 19:4-6, Mark 10:2-12, Rom. 1:18-32, 2 Peter 2)

ORDINANCES

We observe two ordinances of our Lord Jesus Christ:

BAPTISM (Matt. 28:19)

THE LORDS SUPPER (1 Cor. 11:23-26)

We also believe in the dedication of children to the Lord by believing parents (Eph. 6:4)
